To evaluate reaction of 25 wheat genotypes to salinity stress, this study was conducted under salinity stress (EcSoil = 9.8-12.8 ds/m and EcWater = 8.8-10 ds/m) and non-stress (EcSoil = 3.3 ds/m and EcWater = 2.1 ds/m) conditions using RCBD with three replications at Birjand research station in 2012-13 and 2013-14 cropping seasons. Combined analysis of variance showed that there were significant differences among genotypes for grain yield and other concerned characteristics. Role of the yield components was different in genotypes with higher grain yield. Correlation coefficients of stress indices with grain yield in non-stress and stress conditions showed that STI, MP and GMP were desirable for identifying high yielding and tolerant genotypes in two conditions, and the best index was STI. By drawing of biplot, genotypes were placed into tolerant, moderately tolerant and non-tolerant groups. Based on cluster analysis, genotypes were divided into four different groups. Finally based on salinity tolerance indices, , SDR of indices and results of biplot, genotypes No. 25, 22, 20 and 13 were determined as the most tolerant genotypes and better than check cultivars, that were placed in area with high yield potential, low sensitive to salinity, and near to MP, GMP and STI vectors, and genotypes No. 16, 9 (Moghan 3), 10 (Shiroodi) and 17 as the most susceptible genotypes.
